Hi I'm Tanya!

I've been in the wellness industry for over 15 years. For the past 5 years I’ve been helping health enthusiasts just like you to let go of punishing strategies to maintain or lose weight and feel relaxed around food and comfortable with their bodies.

With my background as a former fitness trainer and holistic nutritionist, I thought I could solve everyone's health challenges. But after finishing nutrition school, I felt more stressed around food feeling neurotic and worried about "good foods" and "bad foods." Instead, I wanted to feel relaxed around food and not feel like a fraud if I couldn't maintain a perfectly healthy diet (as there's no such thing as perfection)! What I needed was to redefine the word healthy in healthy diet. I'm grateful that I discovered Mind Body Nutrition and Dynamic Eating Psychology. The lessons that I learned changed me personally and professionally. 

When you combine the best strategies from holistic and sports nutrition science PLUS dynamic eating psychology, you can learn self-care strategies that truly nourish you.

My mission is to help you feel and BE your best by teaching strategies that feel nourishing rather than stressful and depleting.

Q1: What makes this class special compared to other nutrition courses?

I have a variety of skills in my "toolbox." As a former personal trainer (with Training To Be Balanced), I have personal experience with this challenge. I was a trainer during the very first year it was offered and understand the mental and physical challenges that you may encounter. I am certified as a Nutrition Therapy Practitioner, Precision Nutrition (Sports) Coach, Mind Body Nutrition + Dynamic Eating Psychology Coach and Body Image Movement Global Ambassador.

Q2: When does Nutrition For Fat Loss start and end?

Starts January 28 with the release of Module 1 and ends Monday, March 12th, the day of the last body composition scan. BONUS! You will have access to all the video content and downloadable handouts for the remainder of the year! So take your time.

Q3: What are the advantages of taking an online course? 

Almost all of us lack Vitamin T = time. You can take this self-paced course when it’s convenient for you, from your home or office via your cell phone, tablet or computer. And you can take it WHEN you want to - not tied into a time constraining class time. It’s time to take a progressive approach to your health. 

Q4: What should I expect once I sign up?

Once registered, you will receive a confirmation email. On Sunday, January 28, you will receive an email when the first module is released. Sign in with your email and password (that you will create when you purchase the course) and you will have immediate access to the Module 1 Lessons: class video lessons + handouts. 

I will add you to the private Facebook page and will  ask you to introduce yourself to the group. I will be checking Facebook once daily throughout the Transformation Challenge to answer questions.
